Again, my mind is BLOWN that I wrote a catchy tune that happens to touch on the fact counting is supes important this September. The census is closing on September 30th! I must be a clairvoyant songwriter and it makes sense. I’ve personally entered my astrology phase of the pandemic and clearly, I’m a vessel for knowing it all now. Don’t tell me that’s not how astrology works! Or what I mean to say is, if you didn’t do your survey, let me sweeten the deal for you. We all know that back to school this year is not the same and it’s wild my song covers this too! But in all seriousness, it’s a lot to expect all families in the city to be well equipped for remote learning. This is why YAW is stepping up to the plate to serve as an Access Center this school year. For those of you who don’t know what that means, it means YAW will provide Philly’s most vulnerable youth with a safe place for digital learning when their adults can’t work remotely themselves. Registration is required, but if you know families who work around or have youth in schools near AAI, let them know we’re available as an Access Center.
